Logging In

Open WeTheAction.org and click on the Log In button in the upper right hand corner of the website.

Exploring Your Dashboard

The dashboard page allows to see your WTA achievements, view your previous volunteer projects, and access your profile settings. The dashboard also has options to complete your profile, view the project directory, and refer WTA to a friend.

Completing Your Profile

In Settings, you can complete your profile, change your contact information, set your preferences, and change your password. To make sure we can connect with projects that you care about, please enter as much information as possible.

Finding a Project

The project page allows you to explore active projects, filter and sort projects, and volunteer for projects. You can sort and filter projects by time commitment, issue area, state, and much more.

After selecting a project from the project page, you can see more information about the project, including context, work outlines, and required deliverables. If you decide you want to work on the project, click on “Volunteer for this Project” to be connected directly with the nonprofit.

Connecting with the Nonprofit

After selecting a project, you will receive an email from the sponsoring nonprofit, who will now be your primary contact for the project. If you have any questions about the platform or issues with the nonprofit, you can contact We The Action directly.
